Description
AquaKlean SC-HD is a non-nitrated liquid cleaner/rust inhibitor that cleans and leaves a dry film to protect metals from rust during indoor storage in one easy step. Rust protection typically lasts for up to 3 months depending on conditions. AquaKlean SC-HD provides HEAVY DUTY removal of all shop soils and oils.
Characteristics
AquaKlean SC-HD was formulated to remove all shop soils and oils while providing rust protection in one easy, no-foam step. The non-nitrated formula prevents the formation of nitrosamines while the non-caustic formula eliminates caustic dry-down. The silicate free formula eliminates silicate dry-down, which would otherwise interfere with subsequent coatings. AquaKlean SC-HD is non-emulsifying, which causes oils to float to the top, allowing skimming for easy disposal and extended tank life. The non-foaming formula is perfect for use in unheated spray washers. AquaKlean SC-HD is fully organic and can be annealed without cleaning.
Directions for Use
AquaKlean SC-HD is applied by either spray or immersion. Coatings can be heat-treated / annealed and can be easily removed with a mild cleaner. AquaKlean SC-HD should be run at 3 – 10% with water at 70 – 160°F for 15 seconds to 3 minutes depending on the application.
