pH-Neutral Degreaser & All-Purpose Cleaner
A good rule of thumb when considering the pH level of a cleaning product is this: the more acidic (0-5.5 pH) a solution is, the better it is for removing calcium, rust, minerals, and the like; the more alkaline it is (8.5-14 pH), the better it is for removing organic materials like oils, grease, dirt, etc. Neutral formulas (5.5-8.5 pH) are the “best of both worlds”—equally adept at removing all types of contaminants.
With a neutral pH of 7.5, SuperGreen® is well-suited to all types of cleaning applications.
Cleaners vs. Degreasers
Every degreaser is a cleaner, but not every cleaner is a degreaser. Degreasers are specially formulated to remove grease, etc.; most “all purpose cleaners” will also remove at least some grease, and many “all purpose degreasers” will provide at least some general cleaning capabilities. However, it is best to use a product that is designed for the particular cleaning challenge you’re dealing with.
