Flux and other residues left on the surface on printed circuit boards can cause corrosion and impact functionality. Dip tanks and ultrasonic soaking tanks
are effective at removing most surface contamination, but not all.
Aerosol flux cleaners effectively remove residual flux from printed circuit boards after soaking. Packaging industrial silicone removers in an aerosol allows for precise dispensing in any direction, making the product easy to apply.

A Safe and Effective Electronic Flux Cleaner
Many electronic flux cleaners on the market leave a residue behind, but NuSolv SOR No-Clean Flux Aerosol wipes away entirely for a virtually clean surface and improved adhesion. Use our non-toxic aerosol flux cleaner to remove substances from printed circuit boards and a multitude of other surfaces, including conformal coating application nozzles.
Our product effectively removes:
- Fluxes and no-clean fluxes
- Silicone oils and adhesives
- Silicone conformal coatings
- Organic residue
NuSolv SOR (Aerosol) is the solution of choice for cleaning BGA and SMT circuit boards. It is safe on all components, and completely rinses residues from connectors.
Performance Characteristics of NuSolv SOR-Aerosol
NuSolv SOR No-Clean Flux Aerosol contains a mixture of solvents, allowing for the effective removal of a wide variety of soils and coatings.
Traditional silicone oil and adhesive removal solutions require a mixture of halogenated solvents and extremely low or high pH additives to “activate” the solution and break siloxane bonds. This aggressive approach can easily damage part components and discolor surfaces.
Our printed circuit board flux remover contains no toxic solvents, making it the intelligent choice for worker safety, and the environment. NuSolv SOR Aerosol will not harm part components or surfaces and works through dissolution.
NuSolv SOR-No Clean Flux Aerosol is an effective, and cost-competitive replacement for Dow Corning(1)
“Dowsil” OS-10 and Microcare VeriClean No Clean Flux Remover(2)
when used in cleaning applications.
Directions for Using NuSolv SOR Electronic Flux Cleaner
NuSolv SOR Aerosol is dispensed directly from the can. It can be applied directly to boards, or dispensed into a closed container containing boards, such as a sealed bag. Dispensing into a closed container retains the aerosolized solvent blend to penetrate coatings and soils more effectively, and for an extended period. This method results in increased product efficiency and requires less solvent to be used. The application and cleaning parameters can vary due to the type and extent of soils to be removed.
