Description:
NuFlo™ 547 is a proprietary blend of solvents, co-solvents, surfactants, and polymers designed to reduce viscosity, enhance flow, remove asphaltene/paraffin blockages in pipelines, flowlines, and downhole applications. It does not contain NPE’s (nonylphenol ethoxylates) which are banned for use in many countries.
Characteristics:
NuFlo™ 547 is designed to reduce viscosities in ultra heavy asphaltene rich crude oil—viscosity reductions of 70% are achievable along with pressure drops of approximately 50% in pipelines. NuFlo™ 547 will also reduce turbulent flow, dissolve and disperse asphaltenes, and paraffins at ambient temperatures. NuFlo™ 547 also has a built in demulsifier which can eliminate the need for additional chemicals to separate water from the crude oil. This product has a high flash point and is ultimately biodegradable per OECD 301D.
Applications:

Used in pipelines to reduce viscosity and therefore increase flow while reducing pumping pressure.

Used downhole or pipelines to clean and prevent asphaltene and paraffin blockages while enhancing flow.

Used downhole for squeeze jobs, down capillary strings, or down back side for well bore cleaning.
