Parts are submerged in the solution, then pulled through the vapor to dislodge any contaminants. This cleaning process eliminates the need for water or scrubbing and results in a clean, dry part.

FluoSolv® AP is a proprietary blend of non- flammable hydrofluoroethers (HFEs) and trans-1,2-dichloroethylene (trans-DCE) that is a drop-in replacement for degreasing & defluxing solvents such as Chemours Vertrel® SDG, Vertrel® SMT & Vertel® SFR.
In addition, FluoSolv® AP is a safer vapor degreasing solvent option for blends of n-propyl bromide (nPB) which are toxic and discontinued widely. It can also be used as a substitute for other cleaners such as Asahi AK-225 (a blend of HCFC-225 ca/cb) & HCFC-141b, both of which are ozone-depleting substances banned from production.
