Description
NuGeneration Technologies’ AquaKlean EF145 is a highly alkaline liquid cleaner & etchant with low to no foam for use in agitated tank applications. The non-phosphated formula will not sludge or form a scale. AquaKlean EF145 may be used as a cleaner for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals while enabling an aggressive etch on aluminum alloys.
Other acceptable materials include magnesium, plastics, ceramics, and glass.
Characteristics
AquaKlean EF145 was formulated to both clean and etch aluminum and aluminum alloys in order to reduce residues, scaling, and sludging of tanks.
Removes inks, polishing and buffing compounds, greases, oils, fingerprints, drawing compounds and metalworking fluids.
Directions for Use
AquaKlean EF145 is effective at ambient temperatures. However, it is normally used at 10 – 20% by volume of water at 120 &nda+L2sh; 190 °F for 5 seconds to 5 minutes.The parameters can vary depending on the type and extent of soils being removed. L2Temperatures may be increased slightly for shorter time cycles.
Safe on Magnesium. Test for discoloration on cuprous alloys.
