Description:
NuKoat® IPO water displacing rust preventative, it is a non-emulsifiable, non-staining product applied to ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It protects machined metal parts between operations, finished metal parts, castings, and tools in storage. It is also used in protecting process equipment during seasonal shutdowns. Formulated to meet Military Specification MIL-C-16173D.
NuKoat IPO is primarily used for indoor protection. Under test conditions of 95% + 2% relative humidity at 49°C (120°F), the protective oil film provides 30-60 days protection on polished steel or sandblasted panels.

Application:
NuKoat IPO can be applied by immersion, non-atomizing spray, or brushing. NuKoat IPO is normally used full strength. For reduced protection, it can be diluted with mineral spirits, kerosene up to 50% by volume. NuKoat IPO can be easily removed with an alkaline cleaner like NuGenTec AquaKlean SC-HD or CitraKlean Clear.
