Oakite CrysCoat _x005F_x0001_ 2147 Low Temperature Spray Applied, Detergent Iron Phosphate for Multimetal Processing. PRIMARY APPLICATION Oakite CrysCoat 2147 is a liquid product formulated to simultaneously clean and prepare metals such as cold rolled steel, hot-dipped galvanized and aluminum for painting. The superior cleaning package in CrysCoat 2147 makes it applicable in a 3 or 5 stage process. The high performance coatings developed by CrysCoat 2147 provide increased paint adhesion and superior corrosion resistance under today’s modern finishes. Oakite CrysCoat 2147 is formulated to develop a high quality conversion coating in lines processing a variety of metals at reduced temperatures. Oakite CrysCoat 2147 has been thoroughly tested on a number of substrates, under a number of paints. The result is consistent superior performance. As more manufacturers increase the percent non-ferrous metals in their metal mix for their improved corrosion resistance and their light weight, multimetal processing capabilities are becoming more important. CrysCoat 2147 offers that capability. Beyond this, CrysCoat 2147 develops a coating that helps you get the most out of your paint system. The high quality conversion coating developed by CrysCoat 2147 allows you to consider non-chrome final rinses without sacrificing quality. Its superior performance coupled with its ability to process multimetals simultaneously provides the finisher with versatility while increasing quality.
