NuSlice Series
Wafers & Sliders: Slicing, Dicing, Sawing
Application Notes: The NuSlice products are designed to eliminate electrostatic discharge (ESD) problems with its built in high conductance. The 100% synthetic formula contains no oils or anionic ingredients leading to even cleaner substrates. NuGenTec’s proprietary lubricant package results in longer cutting tool life, improved surface finishes, reduced edge chipping and surface scratching, faster cutting speeds, improved kurf removal, enhanced cleanability.
NuSlice 5 & 6, ultra high purity, slicing and dicing fluids were formulated for thin-film heads and silicon wafers. With mobile ion impurities lower than 0.5 ppm in dilution, the products have the highest purity levels in the industry. Formulated to prevent attack on all semiconductor and slider assemblies. NuSlice 5 is formulated without any biocides or fungicides yet contains built in corrosion protection for copper, while 5-B contains an effective biocide/fungicide for systems concerned with bacterial growth or not using UV light sterilization. NuSlice 6 is formulated without additional copper corrosion protection.
NuGeneration Technologies’ Wafer product line has been formulated with the needs of the industry in mind. All of our products are manufactured using the highest-grade raw materials with 18 MOhm DI water then filtered to meet customers’ requirements before packaging. Our products are cost effective i.e. formulated for extended bath life, contain no VOC’s or chelates, are safe to use (contain NO Prop 65 or SARA 313 ingredients), biodegradable and are easily disposed(1) of thereby reducing the cost of waste treatment.
