NuKoat 55  Iron Phosphate Conversion Coating

Pre-paint for steel, capable of conditioning mixed metals including: galvanized steel, zinc and aluminum surfaces. Low temperature spray providing one-step cleaning & conversion coating product that is molybdate and HF free. 

Applications: NuKoat 55 is a highly versatile liquid capable of cleaning and iron phosphating in one easy step. NuKoat 55 provides a superior foundation for painting providing excellent corrosion resistance and paint adhesion in both 3 and 5 stage systems. Applied by either spray or immersion NuKoat 55 provides superior corrosion-resistant coating on steel without the use of molybdate or fluoride. NuKoat 55 has a premium wetting agent package that reduces surface tension allowing deeper penetration of the cleaners.  This results in cleaner metal surfaces and promotes very uniform cleaning/conversion coatings. NuKoat 55 meets Federal Specifications as follows: TT-C-490, Type II

Physical Properties:

Availability: Available in 5, 55 and 275-gallon containers. Bulk tank shipments also available.
Shipment: Freight classification: “Iron Rust Removing or Preventing Compound, NOBIN – Liquid.”
Storage: Keep from freezing. Store between 40-120 °F.
