AquaKlean EF 105 MF: Non-silicated Aluminum In-process Cleaner.

Application Notes:
NuGeneration Technologies’ AquaKlean EF 105 MF is a mildly alkaline liquid cleaner. Moderate-foaming for use in tank applications. The non-silicated and non-caustic formula will not sludge or scale-up. The mildly alkaline formula allows AquaKlean EF 105 MF to be used as a multi-metal cleaner. Other acceptable materials include: plastics, ceramics and glass.

AquaKlean EF 105 MF was formulated to provide improved removal of particulates and organics while providing reduced residues, and fast rinsing. AquaKlean EF 105 MF provides excellent wetting and rinsing proprieties and is therefore an excellent choice for pre-plate cleaning. Removes: inks, polishing and buffing compounds, grease, oils, fingerprints, drawing compounds, metalworking fluids.

Spray and Immersion Cleaner Cleaning Aluminum metals

AquaKlean EF105MF is specially designed for in-process cleaning of aluminum. Removes all metal working coolants, lubricants, fingerprints, soils, grease and dirt. EF105 MF does not contain ingredients detrimental to subsequent plating processes. Ideally suited as a pre-plate or pre-coat in-process cleaning compound for industrial applications. May be used in solvent replacement tanks with hand brushing operations.

Application Procedure:
AquaKlean EF 105 MF is effective at ambient temperatures. However, it is normally used at 1 to 10% by volume of water at 120 to 165 °F for 5 seconds to 5 minutes. The parameters can vary due to the type and extent of soils to be removed. Temperatures may be increase slightly for shorter time cycles. Not safe on magnesium. Test for discoloration on cuprous alloys.
