About the USDA BioPreferred^SM Program (www.biopreferred.gov):
The BioPreferred^SM program aims to increase the purchase and use of renewable, environmentally friendly biobased products while providing "green" jobs and new markets for farmers, manufacturers, and vendors.

The BioPreferred^SM program offers three major benefits: Climate Change Impact Reduction, Energy/Environmental Security, and Economic Development.

BioPreferred^SM is a Federally administered and run program. It was created by the 2002 Farm Bill to increase the purchase and use of biobased products. The 2008 Farm Bill (Food Conservation and Energy Act of 2008) expanded the exiting preferred purchasing program for federal sector and reauthorized the voluntary labeling program for the broad scale consumer marketing of biobased products.

USDA's Biopreferred^SM products are formulated with ingredients derived from renewable resources i.e. plant derived as apposed to fossil fuel based. AeroKlean is formulated with Orange and Lemon peel extracts as the solvent portion (for degreasing) which gives the product a pleasant citrus scent. The rest of the surfactants are derived from Corn and Soybean sources.

Certified Products:

• AeroKlean - Great aircraft surface cleaner for painted and polished aluminum. Neutral pH formula is non-silicated, non-phosphate and safe on even polished aluminum.
• Clean-N-Clear - Building cleaner exterior and interior, safe on all glass surfaces.  Removes acid rain, hard water stains, rust, oxides, dirt, grease, grime…etc.  Safe for indoor cleaning applications…hard surface cleaner. Clean-N-Clear is a certified LEED Building Cleaner.
• CitraSoy 3 - An all natural liquid concentrated (contains NO water) cleaner, formulated with the natural solvents derived from orange peels and soybeans, that offers environmental compatibility, user safety and low cost for disposal for heavy duty cleaning of all surfaces.
